The Self Winding Clock by pixeldiva The Self Winding Clock by pixeldiva
I was walking through Kentish Town Tube Station on Saturday when I saw this clock, so I stood on tiptoe and held the cam up as high as I could to catch this shot.

*begs* Please please please, I'm desperate... I've been trying to find a good stock image of a clock but there seems to be a definite lack - may I have permission to use this image in one of my pieces?

Damn, that's just fucking beautiful.

How did you achieve that blur around the clock? Such a shallow depth of field. Its amazing! +fav

Extremely cool photo. I always love these pieces in which time seems distorted and running out of itself, just like in this photo by means of the slight blur all around the clock. The old style of the hands and suspension mechanism of the clock enhance that feel to me. Add to that the b&w colour and sharp focus on the clock, as well as the somewhat odd angle of the clock, and I just have to Love it. Very well done indeed.

I hate this picture, but only cos I hate that clock, I look at the bloody thing in disgust every time I miss the train home ;-) (Wink)

Apart from that its a great picture, I love the 'texture' of it.
